Exercise 3: Working with Basic Drawing Strategies





It can be very helpful to compartmentalize a group of tasks. For this drawing, use multiple layers to group elements in the image.

  1. Build the image from items located in the back to items in the foreground.
  2. Each element should occupy a separate layer.
  3. Hide, unhide, and lock layers as you construct the drawing, as shown in the two images below.






Exercise 4: Experiment with additional drawing tools.
Recreate the image shown below as best you can.
Use multiple layers in the timeline to separate main elements.
