Part 1: Use Krita to reproduce the image of an Artwork Cover
Select a cover artwork that interests you, such as a New Yorker cover like the one shown below.
You may choose any poster artwork.
Recreate the artwork using Krita tools of your choice.
Rely on the use of layers to separate drawn elements.
For example, use layers for the sky, sandy beach, hotdog, etc.
Learn about additional drawing tools and techniques and document your progress in a Word document.
IMPORTANT: Save the final image as a .PNG file.
Submit your final PNG artwork and your learning progress to canvas.
Include a photo capture of the layers in your artwork.
Part 2: Use Wick Editor to reproduce the vector images shown below.
For each image, start by selecting the line tool in
Wick Editor. Use the line tool to create the general shape of the image.
Apply curves and connect the lines. Apply color to the completed shape.
You may create both images within the same Wick Editor document.
