Assignment 4 Part A: Tween Animations and Clips


IMPORTANT: Make sure to upload ALL exercises as .wick files to Canvas.




Exercise 1



  1. Construct an animation consisting of no less than five letters. Each letter must be placed on its ownlayers.
  2. The final animation should spell out a name or idea. The sky backdrop, shown below, must also occupy its own layer.
  3. The animation should begin with no letters visible on the screen. Letters should enter the screen in varied sizes and gradually move into their final positions.
  4. After pausing for three full seconds, the letters should then move off the screen.
  5. Each letter of your word must be created as a vector.




Exercise 2: Basic tween animation using multiple petals

Create the animation shown in the mockup.



  1. Begin by constructing layers in the timeline. Name each layer appropriately.
    HINT: The animation contains 7 elements (6 petals and a circle center). Each element must occupy its own layer.
  2. Use the transform tool to rotate the petals as they move toward the yellow circle.
  3. Pause the image of the flower (about 20 frames).
